Frome Allotment Association currently has over 300 names on its waiting list and people have to wait years for a plot. The sites need new and fresh management in order to make it fairer for households to acquire plots. There is a problem currently whereby multiple plots are allocated to one household, and many older members are holding onto huge plots which could be halved in order to reduce the waiting list and to make it fairer for all people.
