Stop rubbish going to landfill. Power generation through processing waste in fully enclosed plants with remaining Bio-Mass at about 5%. My understanding is that Shoalhaven Council agreed to this several years ago. 1st plant was in Poland https://bioelektra.com/en/
Our apartment bin room is a place of nightmares, I can only imagine how awful landfill is. Love the idea of giving people's trash a further purpose.

The idea does not mean forget reduce reuse recycle. It does mean that waste to landfill minimisation can occur. Present practices do not.
Great idea. Land fill is a huge issue and this is a good solution
