GREENING THE SLUM

I like this idea because it is an inexpensive way to sustainably improve upon this environment and the lives of its inhabitants.

This Idea can be improved by : 1.Educating the people on the importance of greenery in the environment and its benefits. creating a job. 2. practically educating them on how to grow these plants and trees on their own. 3. Amending local laws that prevent people from cutting down trees and tempering with certain green areas in the community. This will lead to the creation of jobs such as gardening and selling of seedlings. It also will draw people closer to this abandoned part.
