Light Rail Public Transport

Light Rail Public Transport

Light rail can provide a fast public transport service that will be a mix between surface and underground to access urban areas particularly spots where there is a high density of commercial activity and/or an area densely populated. The final assessment as to where it should pass and where stations are to be placed needs to be meticulously evaluated to ensure highest usage so as to make it economically viable. This would need to be supplemented by a good, frequent bus service.

Points

The light rail should not be making use of existing road network and so it will be much faster and reliable

I like your idea. but what could also be added it might be underground and go to other countries, raising tourism and money coming to Malta. Also being a faster cheaper and better type of transport.
