Carfree City

Carfree City

Not allowing cars into Valletta and Sliema on the weekends and only allowing public transport, taxis and bicycles to control air pollution and traffic congestion. A great incentive just like in many other European cities allowing more space for pedestrians, introducing space for bike lanes instead of parking spaces and encouraging citizens to use public transport and encouraging the Government to better invest in public transport.
