Boosting Innovative Local Farming and Agriculture

Boosting Innovative Local Farming and Agriculture

Incentives introduced to bring young farmers into local farming and agriculture, with particular focus on indigenous local produce and "non-resource intensive" crops and livestock. Special measures should be introduced to encourage research and innovation for environmentally friendly solutions in these sectors.

Points

we need to go back using seeds and crops from our ancestors which were adaptable to our climate over centuries. We are today using a lot of hybrid seeds which are not suitable for our climate. This will result in either not much crop yield or else require huge amounts of water, fertilisers/nutrients and pesticides.

Like many other countries we should ban Monsanto and rid ourselves of pesticides and purify our soils and crops once again.
