A state owned/run residence for people with severe mental disabilities. Elderly people who have a son or daughter with severe mental disabilities do not have the strength to care for their child. They also live with the constant worry of what happens to the mentally disabled person after their demise. The responsibility for these persons should not lie solely with voluntary organisations who can refuse entry to difficult cases. The place should provide 24/7 care in a home environment.
