In Malta problems regarding mental health are increasing. To cope with this increase new facilities must be built. A good proposal would be that of referbishing the Mont Carmel Hospital and the building of a more attractive Child Development Assessing Unit since the one in Saint Lukes is not fully adapted to serve its purpose. Moreover as a gozitan citizen I would love to see a facility dedicated to youths with mental health problems in Gozo like "Kenn ghal sahhtek in Malta"
Such proposals makes the service of mental health more approachable.
When it comes to kids, the the dept of YPU shall not be like a punishment - it should have included daily activities and a more loving approach.
